How to Use the Chi Machine
Drink a 4-6 ounce glass of room temperature water before you begin using the Chi Machine.
Stretch out your lower back first, then lay down on the floor.
Position the Original Sun Ancon Chi Machine on a firm surface with the handle facing away
from you. Center your body with the arrow on the machine and place your feet in the cradle so
that your ankles are 1-2 inches over the edge of the cradle. You may want to wear heavy socks - make sure to
put the cradle cover on the chi machine. Make sure you are comfortable lying there. If you have a
tendency to lower back or knee pain, put a pillow under your knees for extra support until you are use to the
machine's movement.
Turn the timer switch on to activate the machine - first time users should NOT do more than 2-3 minutes, if
in poor health less than 1 minute. Once you are used to the machine and its movement, you can increase your
time in 1-2 minute increments. You may use the machine twice a day for maximum benefits.
Your body will feel a full body movement, try not to fight this movement, stay relaxed and allow your body
to move with the swing of the machine. Breathe deeply and evenly during the movement.
When the machine stops, remain on the floor for 2-3 minutes before getting up. You may
remove your feet from the cradle during this time. This is where your body benefits from the internal organ
massage.
Stretch out your spine and hips, then roll to one side and get up off the floor.
Drink an 8-ounce glass of room temperature water after using the Original Chi Machine.
Three Arm Positions for using the Chi Machine
Stretched Back Position for the Chi Machine:
Lift both arms above your head and keep them as straight as possible. This may assist you better in weight loss,
shoulder tendonitis, releasing muscle tension, and releasing nervous pressure.
Mid Position for the Chi Machine:
Put both hands under your head in a position that results in your upper body and legs being lifted off the
floor. This may assist you better in migraine headaches, bone spurs, misaligned spine, sore back, gout, and
arthritis.
Goldfish Position for the Chi Machine:
Place both arms at your side on the floor next to your body. This may assist you better in releasing tension,
mood balancing, insomnia, constipation, and internal organ discomfort.
Precautions: Do Not use for at least 3 months after an
operation or bone fracture, if suffering from a serious infection, have a bleeding injury or heart disease, during
pregnancy, within 30 minutes of eating, if extreme pain occurs during use, investigate the cause and correct the
problem before reusing use of the machine. If you have a medical condition and have a question, you should consult
